Still living green

It isn’t that I’ve stopped living green, its that I haven’t stopped living and that has left me little time to write about it, except for when I need to do it for my job of course. I still recycle. I still compost and today I was even mulching branches from the tree I lost during hurricane Ike several weeks ago. Last wee I went thrift store shopping for glasses to replace the ones in my kitchen. I bought 3 sets. Before shopping though I donated two boxes of women and men clothing. I got rid of stuff I no longer needed, bought stuff I did need and the profits from that help people find jobs in this bad economy. Unfortunately I’ve had to cut back on buying organic foods. Everything else is pretty much the same. Sometimes I get lazy and I have to remind myself why I’m trying to live a green life. I think of all the benefits, of my kids living in a clean and safe environment. I think about breathing fresh air, about perhaps helping prevent illness like cancer and such from occurring. There are so many reason to do it.
